WaNuLCAS-5 is a free, open-source web application. The source code is available at https://github.com/degi/wanulcas, and the online version can be accessed at https://wanulcas.agroforestri.id/. The application was developed using R and JavaScript on the R-Shiny platform. It can be launched locally as a standalone application from its source code using R or RStudio (go to the source code website and follow the instructions).
WaNuLCAS-5 is an updated version of the original WaNuLCAS version 4 developed by World Agroforestry (ICRAF). The previous iteration, WaNuLCAS v4, was implemented using ISEE Stella and MS Excel macro scripts. WaNuLCAS-5 utilizes algorithms similar to those in WaNuLCAS v4 for its core modules and adopts corresponding variable names in its source code.
